Mike is the senior wealth advisor for the Irwin Menzies Group at Mission Wealth Advisors. Mike’s high performance background and his business experience combine to bring a unique risk and performance management offering to Mission Wealth Management clients. The team approach that has been bred into him over his years of World Cup ski racing competitions and his market sense provide clients with invaluable investment advice.
Mike is a native Calgarian and graduated from Western University in London, Ontario with an honours degree in Economics. Prior to starting his investment career in the mid 1980s, Mike was a member of the famous Crazy Canucks on the Canadian National Ski Team. He raced for 5 years placing in the top 20 on all of the famous downhills around the globe. He was also crowned World Stock Exchange Ski Champion over 10 times in his career.
Mike was Chief of Race at the Vancouver Olympics in 2010 as well as other World Cup Ski races held in Canada over the years. He is past President of Alberta Alpine and past President of The Glencoe Club of Calgary. Mike is married to Missy and he is a proud father of four. Son Tom, the eldest, is a valued partner at Mission Wealth Advisors.
